About me

I was born in Atlanta, Georgia but lived most of my life in Virginia, attended University of Richmond where I studied math, met and married my husband of 50 years.  After retiring from teaching in 2009, my husband and I  moved to The Landings in Savannah, Georgia where I developed a passion for art. I studied watercolor under Rebecca Willis and Penny Thompson and also took courses in mixed media from Sharon Sasseen and a couple of classes in acrylics at The Art Center.  Today, I use all three mediums, and now, alcohol ink to create orbs for not just Christmas, but everyday decorating.
